Project EXCEL
EXceptional Curriculum for Exceptional
Learning
|
Academically talented students are a unique population within the learning community
at BLS. In order to achieve their potential, these youth require diverse learning
experiences to meet their educational needs, and BLS offers a service option to
formally identified students. This program meets all identification and curricular
criteria established by the Ohio Department of Education / Gifted and Talented Education
Standards. Project EXCEL, through the support of the total BLS learning community,
affords opportunities and differentiated strategies that extends learning beyond
the standard curriculum. Through this program, we hope to enhance our students’
potential for life-long learning and maximize their contributions to society with
a meaningful, productive discipleship. The instructor, Edward Ristau, M.Ed., is
a licensed Intervention Specialist K-12 / Gift and Talented Education.
